This challenge began as an accidental experiment during my own perimenopause.
Three years ago, my partner was diagnosed with LADA — Late onset Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults, Type 1 Diabetes.
Overnight, insulin went from something I vaguely understood to something I had to deeply learn.
As we navigated blood sugar, insulin, weighing food, calculating carbs, walking after meals, and stabilising energy, I noticed something unexpected:
The same habits supporting insulin balance were also transforming how I felt in my perimenopausal body.
